Research area
My research is on biologically inspired electrostatic artificial muscles. With recent developments in materials science and electronics, electrostatic transducers have re-gained attention due to achieving high-performance values with lower energy consumption. By investigating new materials combinations and fabrication techniques these transducers can be directly incorporated into conventional systems and can be used as muscles in musculoskeletal systems.
