Research area

My research centers on soft body modeling within the field of soft robotics, with a focus on the relevant physics and numerical optimization needed to capture complex dynamics. I am particularly interested in developing computational frameworks that simulate the behaviors of soft materials and biological tissues. In the context of biohybrid robotics, I integrate first-principle methods with artificial intelligence to advance the design and fabrication of cutting-edge living robots. By leveraging fundamental laws of physics and biology, I create robust frameworks that decode complex interactions within biohybrid systems. The integration of AI enhances the predictive accuracy of these models, allowing for the simulation of intricate behaviors in both biological tissues and synthetic materials.
